Post war Pre-Fab Houses
Soon after the second world war a number of "Pre-Fab" houses were erected on Southboune Gardens and other roads locally. It is thought that the ones on Southbourne Gardens were somewhat smaller than those shown here.

One removed from Amershm can be seen reconstructed at the Chiltern Open Air Museum and you may take a tour on the video below (well worth watching).
