Crock Of Gold

Once a shop, now a pub. Situated by the traffic lights in Ruislip High Street (Near the tube station), yet another establishment to change its name. Initially opening as Bar Lulas in 2004 it was refitted and changed its name to The Listen Inn, and surly there can be no better name for a music bar, then it closed for a while and in early 2006 came back as The Laurels and now back yet again in 2014 as the Crock of Gold, each time with seemingly new owners.

Live music Friday and Saturday evenings, plus big screen TV.

Where it is, by road

At the southern end of Ruislip High Street, by the traffic lights. It has no car park and street parking is minimal. There are car parks behind the shops opposite (access via Kingsend) on a pay and display basis, traffic wardens are beamed in by Scottie, so don't push your luck!

Real ale

Ruislip Online has been advised that generally there are two real ales available.

Access via public transport

Good. Very near Ruislip Tube station and bus garage, look at the "Special Links" page for more information in the "travel" section.

Pub Crawl Potential

Good. There are two more pubs in the High Street, Bar 101, and The George. Also Ruislip Manor is only 15 minutes walk away, turn left at the lights. You could also walk to The Orchard and the White Bear via Kingsend but this leaves you with less options for public transport. Better to start there and work back...
